Ingredients: Wheat flour, salt, dextrose, yeast.

  • Use around 5mm of panko to coat the underside, then sprinkle more over the top for full coverage.
  • Ensure your pan is hot before cooking to keep the crumb light and crisp.
  • Cook for a few minutes per side, depending on thickness. One flip is all it takes.
  • Drain
  1. Spread a layer of panko onto a flat plate.
  2. Lightly coat your protein or vegetables in flour, then dip into beaten egg.
  3. Press gently into the panko to coat evenly on both sides.
  4. Heat a little oil and butter in a pan. Once hot, cook until golden brown and crispy on each side.
  5. Turn once only for best results.
